Goodbye Racoon Eyes! Hello Revlon Makeup Eraser Pen

With all this talk about melting mascara, now is a good time for me to rave about one of my newer makeup bag essentials: The Revlon Makeup Eraser Pen.icon

About the size of a regular pen, this purse-friendly product is invaluable when going out on a night on the town or when going to any sort of function that will take up a lot of time, requires some running around, or may involve a lot of picture-taking or crying (read: Weddings ;)

If you get eyeshadow “fallout” (the little bits of powder that may fall onto your cheek during application) or if your mascara runs, eyeshadow smears, or you get just a bit too zealous in your smokey-eyed endeavors, just swipe the non-greasy, felt-like tip of the eraser pen over any unwanted makeup — even if its longwearing or waterproof — and you can remove your beauty boo-boos without upsetting the rest of your makeup.

At $7.99 a pop and available from most drugstores, icon this nifty makeup savior is a great deal. Just keep in mind that even though the pen boasts a antimicrobial tip, this definitely seems like the kind of makeup product that will have a fairly short lifespan, especially if you use it often. Since mascara expires after at most 3 months, it’s probably a good idea to let go of this one even sooner.

A similar product that I have not tried yet, but may be worth checking out is Sephora’s Makeup Eraser Pen ($12 at Sephora).

Has anyone tried Revlon’s Makeup Eraser Pen? What do you think of it?

I love it! It works beautifully; it’s non-greasy and with one swipe you’re done!
I just bought 2 more to give to my friends who also wear liquid liners.
