MAC Teams Up with Rising Star to Create Sexy New Lipstick

MAC recently announced that it has collaborated with the muy sexy Paulina Rubio to create “Rubia,” a new shade of lipstick that the successful international singer personally created. Rubio, who was recently nominated for a grammy and named “Woman of the Year” by Spanish GQ in 2006, described the golden shade as a “bold, vibrant matte lipstick that will look sexy on all women.”

In a press release issued by MAC, the popular cosmetics company stated that it admired Rubio for the way she embodies a “confident, passionate, and sexy Hispanic woman.” The lipstick is scheduled to launch in March.

Like I said in my post about Suzi Q cosmetics, don’t be surprised to see cosmetic companies and retailers continue to step up and meet the needs of a growing Hispanic market — which is great news for all makeup moxies with beautiful, golden brown skin!
