No doubt hoping to gain greater brand exposure with younger, cosmetics-crazy makeup moxies, Avon just announced that it has signed Academy Award Winner and American Idol star Jennifer Hudson as the exclusive spokesperson for its Imari fragrance line.

The line will now include a new scent, Imari Seduction, which is supposed to be a “fruity oriental blend of plum and orchid with hints of vanilla, amber and musk.”

Sounds yummy, but is it yummy enough to skyrocket to the high level of wild popularity that our lovely Dreamgirl has come to enjoy? We’ll just have to wait and smell!

Imari Seduction is due to launch August 2007.
