Makeup.com is no longer a best kept secret among beauty-savvy value shoppers. In its latest effort to compete with bigger name online beauty retailers, Makeup.com has announced that it is moving its wherehouse to Sumner, Washington in an effort to offer a wider inventory of products and expedite shipping times.
Makeup.com is in the process of comfortably wedging itself into the market as a retailer who can offer current and discontinued products from “classic” brands such as MAC, Benefit, Chanel, Lancome, and Clinique at discounts of up to 50% off retail. The site also has a respectable range of products from boutique brands such as Cargo, Fusion Beauty, Lola, Paula Dorf, and Too Faced. Best of all, the e-tailer frequently offers generous promotions as well as a low minimum spending requirement for free shipping (all orders over $40 ship free).
Owned by MakeUp.com, Ltd., a Nevada-based corporation headquartered in Newport Beach, CA, Makeup.com has enjoyed a whopping 108% increase in sales during the second half of 2006. The company started upping its public image last January by participating in events such as “Pageant School: Becoming Miss America,” where the online retailer provided a team of makeup artists to instruct beauty pageant contestants on how to do their own makeup.
To check out the site and take advantage of its current 15% off “moving sale”, you can visit it by going to Makeup.com.
