New Nivea Self-Tanners and Cellulite Cream

Updated 08/09/07 — The review for one of these products is now available here: Nivea Sun-Kissed Facial Moisturizer Review.

Nivea Visage Eye Make Up Remover

I’ve always felt like the classic Nivea Body Lotion and the Nivea Advanced Q10 Complex line deserve their popular reputation as standout products among mass market cosmetic brands. So I have high hopes for Nivea’s new Sun-Kissed Firming Body Moisturizer and Facial Moisturizer — both of which promise to moisturize skin while building a natural-looking tan within five days.

Along with its self-tanners, Nivea is also rolling out its new Good-bye Cellulite Gel-Cream and, for more stubborn areas of cellutite, the aptly named Good-bye Cellulite Patches. Both treatments claim to use L-Carnitine — an ingredient that has been used by body builders to burn fat, build muscle, and reduce appetite — to help target and treat cellulite (though numerous studies have shown that there is no “miracle cream” for cellulite).

One Nivea product that has been out for awhile and that I’ve just been jonesing to try has been Nivea Visage Eye Make Up Remover. This gel formula is supposed to remove waterproof makeup and mascara without leaving a greasy residue. Has anyone tried it yet? Let me know!

Maybe your “Jonesing” comment will inspire the Nivea folks to send you a case of the stuff.

Nivea’s always welcome to send me any of their beauty goodies — and I’ll be happy to try them out and report my results right here!

I just bought the nivea cellulite cream, we’ll see how it works. I like how its a gel instead of lotion, makes me think it will actually work!

    But….we’ll see!

Hi Natalie! I’m skeptical of cellulite creams…while they probably won’t actually get rid of cellulite, they can plump up the surrounding skin to make it all appear smoother…which I think is still worth the try!

Please be sure to let us know how it works for you!
