Now that summer is rolling in, there are probably times when you’ll want to keep your fragrance as light and low-fuss as your makeup. One of the best ways to do this is to skip the perfume altogether and opt for a pretty smelling lotion or body cream.
One of my summer favorites is The Body Shop Passion Fruit Body Butter. The scent is bright and juicy and reminiscent of The Body Shop’s old school Dewberry scent (I strongly suspect that they’re actually the same fragrance).
I’ve found that the body butters from The Body Shop are not only some of the most effective out there, but their fragrances are long-lasting and smell irresistibly delish.
Just slather some on after a day in the sun and your skin is moisturized, glowing, and lightly fragranced — all in one step!

My other favorite summer scents? Calvin Klein Contradiction, Just Cavalli Her by Roberto Cavalli, and, yes, that favorite of adolescent girls everywhere: Jean Nate Body Splash (I’m not kidding!).
