Michael Kors Leg Shine Review

What is Michael Kors Leg Shine? Michael Kors Leg Shine is basically a solid perfume in a twist-up canister that can be applied to the legs, knees and ankles and is supposed to give your skin a sleek, shiny look. The product is also supposed to be lightly tinted to help even out any imperfections and comes in three shades — classic, shimmer, and bronze — that can each be worn alone or combined for a customized look.

Does Michael Kors Leg Shine Work? Kind of. I tried this product in “Classic,” which is supposed to leave a “golden sheen.” While the product has a warm bronzy hue when it is in the container, it did not add any noticeable color on my legs and it certainly didn’t cover up any imperfections. When you first apply this stuff, it really does leave your legs with a sleek and sexy shine. After about an hour, however, the slick sheen got absorbed and I was left with just a few, subtle, shimmery gold particles.

Since the color and shimmer was so subtle, I found that this product may be even better for use on the shoulders and decolletage.

The strength of this product is, by far, the signature Michael scent: an intoxicating floral blend that includes Freesia, Tamarind, Incense, and Tuberose. The fragrance lasted much longer than the shine and I actually like it so much that I’m willing to give Leg Shine a second shot despite its so-so performance. I plan to try out this product in “Bronze” to see if that shade offers better coverage. If anything, this product makes for a really nice, travel-friendly solid perfume.

Michael Kors Leg Shine is available for $32 from Sephora.

Has anyone tried Michael Kors Leg Shine? What do you think of it?

I just got the classic also, and I love it - but agree it does not cover imperfections or even particularly add much color. I am going to try bronze also, and I think two coats helps. I also think it helps the top of feet in heels to look nicer.

Hi Mary! Thanks so much for leaving a comment and sharing your opinion on this product!

I’m yet to try the bronze shade…it might just be the perfect product for a little winter-pick-me-up ; )
