Pretty in Prison: Will Paris Hilton Get a "Fake-over?"

While there are few things less glamorous than landing in the slammer, female inmates aren’t deterred from coming up with some resourceful ways to primp while in prison.

According to an online article from ABC news, female inmates in Florida have some grooming advice to help Paris Hilton stay pretty while in prison. The female inmates explained to ABC News how they create makeshift beauty products from everyday items in order to “feel more feminine” while behind bars.

Termed “fake-up”, these improvised beauty products include ink pens used as eyeliner, instant coffee that serves as eyeshadow, glitter from greeting cards for adding a little sparkle to eyes, and what appears to be a multi-tasking prison beauty favorite: Crystal Light. The women said that they use it for both their cheeks and lips and one inmate said she likes to mix it with Vaseline and a little instant coffee for a more neutral look.

While most of these beauty tips are obviously pretty dangerous (no pun intended), I have to admit that I’m suddenly looking at that box of cherry pomegranate Crystal Light in my kitchen cupboard in a whole new light. Yes, makeup moxies, because I’m terribly curious, I’m testing this Crystal Light beauty tip and reporting on it tomorrow.

Now that’s hot! *collective groan echoes through cyberspace* Sorry.
