Too Faced Candy Bars Eye Shadow and Shimmer Bar Review

Too Faced Candy Bars Eye Shadow & Shimmer Bars are generously sized, mirrored compacts that offer richly pigmented, highly blendable powders that can be used on both the eyes and face.

Each compact contains four perfectly coordinated, shimmery shades that can be used alone or together and I’ve found that these eyeshadows work very well wet or dry.

One of the things that I really love about the Candy Bar in “brown sugar” is the versatility afforded by the two highlighter shades — one that is a warmer, yellow-based shade and the other that is a cooler, shimmery white shade. You can use either, depending on whether you’re using warmer or cooler shades, or you can use both shades together to create extra dimension.

While Too Faced Cosmetics also recommends blending all four shades together for use as an all-over highlighter, I found that the deepest shade in the “brown sugar” palette makes the color too dark. However, the the perfect-for-summer combination of peachy pink and golden brown shades in the Eye Shadow & Shimmer Bar in Tropical Truffle, looks like a more promising candidate for an all-over face or body highlighter.

Too Faced Candy Bars Eye Shadow & Shimmer is one product that I consistently reach for and often use in conjunction with other products. I truly recommend giving it a try.

Too Faced Candy Bars are available for $25 from Beauty.com.

HELLO there…i bought these when they first came out i have both brown sugar and sugar palm…i used to use them daily but i stopped when i started going more natural even thu the lighter colors r natural looking but i just didn’t want to carry them around…they r great eye shadows they have just enough shimmer and they r very soft…even thu i have cleaned my make up drawer many times i never throw these out they become handy when u want to color coordinate… :)

Hi Pouneh! Great to see you here again : )

I did the exact same thing with mine! I rarely wear these eyeshadows any more (but it’s mostly because I’ve been testing other stuff, lol)…but I do keep them around because I really love using the darkest shade as a wet or dry eyeliner ; )
