Whole Foods Launches Organic Skin Care Campaign
If you shop at Whole Foods, you’ve probably already discovered its treasure trove of organic and fair-trade-friendly cosmetic products (this is where I got my über-cute World of Good makeup bag). Whole Foods is now offering more than just natural soaps, mineral makeup, and that weird crystal deodorant (which actually works pretty well ;). Throughout the month of June, organic grocer will be holding free classes to help educate shoppers on natural ingredients.
There will be a number of topics. Here’s a sample:
- how to look for plant-based ingredients in cleansers that will effectively and gently clean your skin
- Proper nutrition and lifestyle tips to promote healthy skin
- Finding natural products designed to reduce the visible signs of aging
- Why vitamin C is an important vitamin and antioxidant for sun
Check your local Whole Foods store for times and more information. You can also check out the Whole Foods Skin Care Podcast at http://wholefoods.com/socialmedia/wholebody
P.S.– By the way, makeup moxies, it’s the last day to participate in The Beauty Blog Network’s Comments 4 a Cure for Cancer! If you haven’t already, please pay them a visit and post some comments. It’s free, easy, fun, and, most importantly, it’s for a good cause!
