Did you know that “Ahava” means “love” in Hebrew? Maxine Siegel, a national trainer and key account manager for Ahava North America, explained that one of the principles behind the Ahava brand is to help you love your body by caring for it through the use of Ahava’s therapeutic, skin-nourishing products.
Known for its use of ingredients derived from the Dead Sea, Ahava recently launched its new line of Mineral skin care products. Maxine explained that the mineral line is enriched with Ahava’s trademarked ingredient “Mineral Skin Osmotor,” a concentrated extract of Dead Sea Water that helps optimize skin cell function by replenishing the skin with minerals such as magnesium, calcium, and potassium.
Maxine had me try Ahava’s Mineral Hand Cream. The hand cream is perfect for dry skin because it’s incredibly rich. One of the things I like most about it is the subtle scent: fresh, clean and sophisticated with just the slightest — almost imperceptible — hint of earthiness.
