LillyPilly Naturally Australian Bath and Body Products

Australian-based LillyPilly has chosen Cosmoprof North America as the venue for the U.S. launch of its Australian-made hand and body cremes and body washes.
Formulated with natural extracts from plants native to Australia, LillyPilly focuses on creating products that are “simple and uncomplicated” and yet offer real benefits for your skin.
LillyPilly representative Simon Ogilvie pointed out that while many Americans are already familiar with some of LillyPilly’s ingredients such as Eucalyptus and Tea Tree extract, they may not be familiar with ingredients such as Kakadu Plum. Used in its namesake body wash and body lotion, the Kakadu Plum, according to Ogilvie, is “the world’s richest source of Vitamin C.”
As for LillyPilly’s whimsical-sounding name? Ogilvie explained that the brand is actually named for the Lilly Pilly tree, the berries of which provide the antioxidant-packed extract used in LillyPilly’s range of products.
I’m impressed with LillyPilly’s freshly scented collection of Hand & Body Cremes. It feels like a light lotion, moisturizes like a rich body cream, but leaves no greasy after-feel whatsoever.
While LillyPilly isn’t available in the U.S. yet, it’s certainly a promising line. I’ll be sure to let you know when it’s available at a beauty store near you.
