Dedicated to the “Science of Skin Care,” South-African-based cosmeceutical company Skin Nutrition specializes in technologically advanced, all-natural products that are supposed to actually reverse the signs of aging at the cellular level.

To achieve its goal of taking 10 years off anyone’s looks, Skin Nutrition has developed several ranges of products that are supposed to work to fight the signs of aging from the outside — and the inside.

At Cosmoprof North America 2007, Skin Nutrition displayed its Advanced Peptide Therapy Range, which employs advanced peptide technology and biotechnologically modified extracts to treat age-related skin conditions; its Body Beautiful range, which includes products like Volcanic Rock Body Smoother and Body Tensor Gel, which is a moisturizing gel that acts as a “face lift for the body;” and its Essential Anti-Oxidant range, which includes several products formulated with antioxidants like Vitamin C Ester and DMAE.

Skin Nutrition has also developed the Body Beautiful Nutrition line, This line includes a powdered shake mix, oral supplements, and even a low glycemic snack bar.

I actually got a taste of the Omega 3 Snack Bar. It has all the things that you’d expect a regular energy bar to have…and then some. These whole wheat bars are rich in fiber and contain some protein. They also have 8g of Omega 3-rich flaxseed as well as skin-nourishing anti-oxidants. Oh yeah, and did I mention it tastes good too?
