Smashbox Artificial Light Luminizing Lotion Review

Smashbox Artificial Light Luminizing Lotion in “Glow” is turning out to be a summer superstar for me.

While the intended use of this luminizer is to mix it with your foundation or moisturizer to create the look of fresh, glowing skin, using this concoction on your whole face tends to look too shiny during the day…especially if you have oily skin.

For night time, however, Artificial Light does a great job of getting your skin to look glowing and gorgeous. Try mixing some with your body lotion for an all-over sheen that looks irresistibly alluring under the flickering lights of a dark night club.

If you have a little too much fun on your night out, then you can also try my favorite use for Artificial Light, which is to help create a super low-fuss “no-makeup” look.

Just smooth on some tinted moisturizer before blending a little of this shimmery lotion onto the centers of your eyelids and on the tops of your cheekbones. Give your lashes a quick curl, swipe on a subtle lipgloss, and you’re ready to show up fresh-faced and glowing to a low-key breakfast or brunch.

Seriously, Artificial Light is one of those products that will make people wonder how you manage to look so good with so little sleep ;)

Smashbox Artificial Light Luminizing Lotion Glow is available for $30 from Sephora.

Has anyone tried Smashbox Artificial Light? What do you think of it?
