Stila Front Cover Lookbook Palette Review

The best thing about the Stila Front Cover Lookbook Palette is that, unlike many makeup palettes, every product tucked into a Stila Lookbook Palette is wearable and pretty.

The worst part about the Lookbooks? You’ll have to fight not to fall too in love with them, since they’re all limited editions.

Cleverly packaged to emulate the cover of a fashion mag, the four Lookbook Palettes are each designed to create a specific cover makeup look. Each palette includes three eyeshadows, a blush, and an IT gloss.

I tried the Lookbook Palette in “Look No. 2″, a warm-hued collection designed to achieve a “natural, timeless look”. This palette includes shimmery gold, warm peach, and soft brown eyeshadows as well as a soft peach blush and an IT lipgloss in “Enchanting,” a shimmery peachy pink.

The individual products are all Stila classics. The eyeshadows are highly blendable and non-creasing. The finely milled blush smooths on for a natural, glowing finish and the lipgloss is lusciously shiny and long-lasting.

Not digging the golden-peachy-pink vibe? The Front Cover Lookbooks come in three more pretty palettes. “Look No. 1” creates a smoldering look with a rich, dark brown eyeshadow and bright pink gloss; “Look No. 3” seeks to recreate a red carpet look with its dusty rose and purple shades; and Look No. 4 (the one that looks conspicuously like the cover of InStyle) captures the classic look with its palette of nude pinks and neutral browns.

Stila Front Cover Lookbook Palettes are available for $40 each from Sephora.

Has anyone else snagged one of the Stila Front Cover Lookbook Palettes yet? What do you think of it?
