Bourjois La Creme des Levres (or “Bourjois Lip Cream” for us non-French-speakers ;) claims to provide the “nourishing effect of a lip balm, the shine of a lip gloss and the coverage of a lipstick all in one.”
While I think that Bourjois was way off base with its claim that La Creme des Levres provides the coverage of a lipstick, I still think that this is a good, basic lipgloss.
I tried Bourjois La Creme lipgloss in “Beige Veloute,” which is a “sheer ivory beige” color that was extremely sheer — almost colorless.
The strengths of this gloss are its light, non-sticky texture and its excellent moisturizing abilities. If you’re looking for that super glossy patent-shine or lip-plumping action, you’ll have to look elsewhere.
Bourjois La Creme des Levres, however, is a good choice if you’re looking for a basic gloss that leaves lips shiny and smooth.
Bourjois La Creme des Levres is available for $14 from Sephora.
Has anyone tried Bourjois La Creme Des Levres? What do you think of it?
