Chapstick Naturals Lip Butter

Photo: Chapstick.com

I discovered a new cheap treat on a recent trip to the drugstore (yep, I’m a total sucker for all those lip balms strategically placed next to the cash register :). Chapstick, the cheapie king of mass retail lip balms, has come out with a new goodie: Chapstick 100% Naturals Lip Butter.

I love that this Lip Butter goes on smooth, imparts a subtle, juicy shine, and moisturizes lips with five natural butters (mango, shea, avocado, olive, and raspberry) as well as other lip-loving ingredients like jojoba oil, coconut oil, and Vitamin E.

Another thing I like about this lip butter is that it’s pretty much flavorless. Sure, I like flavored lip balms and lipglosses as much as the next girl, but I also get tired of having to continually wipe pomegranate-flavored lipgloss off my morning cup of Starbucks.

Also, if you’re like me and you suffer from chronic lip-balm-losing-syndrome, these chapsticks are an investment that’s easy on the wallet and lovely on the lips. For only about $3 each, do yourself a favor and buy about five. Stash ‘em everywhere — in your makeup bag, bedside table, desk, purse, car, wherever.

Trust me, your lips will thank you for it later.

Chapstick 100% Naturals Lip Butter is available at Walgreens, Wal-mart, and probably most other drugstores.

Thats 1 of my favorites too, currently i’m sick and my mom dropped off my prescriptions today and with it she brought a couple of tubes of this stuff,I’m one of those people that puts on lip balm about every 10 minutes and this may be replacing my traditional burts bees

Hi Alison! I’m also one of those people who puts lip balm on like it’s going out of style, lol

I have a tube of the Burts Bees lip balm somewhere…if I remember correctly, it has a more solid, waxy texture (?).

Anyway, you poor thing! Please take care of yourself, I hope you feel better soon!

I gotta admit, I’m more of an Aquafina girl - I like layering the balms under the lip oils for extra protection! All they need is SPF 15…then I’d really be in the money. n.n

Oooh! Great tip about layering your lip products. I’ll have to try that!

And great point about the lack of SPF 15 ; )

    Hi Jazmin!

I just came across your site today! And your last comment was in Jan. so I hope you see or get this!

I have eczema and I have really oily skin! It sucks to have dry skin and oily skin the same time but this site is very helpful and other people’s comments about their skin have made me feel like I’m not the only one with problems!

Anyway, I have really sensitive lips and I’ve tried everything and the only thing that seems to work is vaseline which sucks because its super oily. I’ve even tried the Kiel’s number 1 lip balm and at first it worked, it then messed my lips up a few days later. I want to try chap stick but I’m afraid it won’t work either! The one you suggested seems all natural, but if you know anything about sensitive lips and what is good to use on them please let me know!
