I just discovered the most perfect gift: The Clinique Happy Personalized Photo Bottle ($52, Clinique.com).
I think any makeup moxie would be happy to receive a bottle of Clinique Happy, but imagine how surprised and delighted she would be if the bottle was crafted with a personalized photo.
You can now create customized bottles of Clinique Happy perfume by uploading any photo you’d like to the Clinique website. The site provides software that allows you to edit and preview the photo bottle before placing your final order.
Just imagine the kinds of amazing gifts you could create. You can use photos of family, friends, kids, and pets. I love the idea of getting creative and using images that might be a little more unexpected — like a pretty vintage photo of your grandmother or photographs of a favorite vacation spot that holds particularly joyful memories.
The possibilities are beautiful and endless. Plus the clean, minimalist style of the Clinique Happy bottle really creates a simple, yet chic, “frame” for your photo. This customized perfume bottle makes a truly thoughtful present. I can’t love it enough.
And as if the joy of giving and receiving such a fabu gift isn’t happy enough, Clinique will donate a $1 (up to $10,000) from the sale of each personalized photo bottle to Big Brothers Big Sisters.
To get started making your own Clinique Happy custom bottles, visit Clinique.com.

I really like this idea, thanks for sharing. I think I am going to get a bottle for my Mom.

OMG! I don’t even really like this perfume, but just the thought of my sweet little Westie puppy on a bottle of perfume is enough to make me buy this…. hmmm, you think Chanel might get hip to this idea? ;)

Hi Kathryn and Trish! I really like this idea too and it’s great that one of my sisters actually wears this perfume, so it’s going to make a wonderful Christmas gift (oops, both my sisters read this blog, so I guess I just spoiled it! :P lol)
And Trish, unfortunately, I highly doubt that Chanel would launch a campaign like this (but wouldn’t it be awesome!).
It’s so fun and innovative of Clinique to do this.
Other brands are trying to revive their images with young celebrity endorsements or collaborations with uber-hip designers (both of which appear to be effective strategies). But I’m really impressed with how Clinique has come up with very creative, tech-savvy promotions to market their products to a wider audience.
First Clinique had those gorgeous, customizable e-cards, and now the personalized photo bottles. Imagine what they’ll come up with next!
