Hourglass Oxygen Mineral Powder: A Great New Foundation in a Nifty Compact?

If you’re interestied in how well this product performs, please be sure to check out my review of Hourglass Mineral Foundation. Updated March 19, 2008.

With its promise of skin benefits and its special, tricked-out mirror, Hourglass Oxygen Foundation Powder is the latest object of my desire.

This talc-free, oil-free mineral powder foundation utilizes some kind of soybean complex that acts as a “unique oxygen-delivering agent” that promotes skin health while allowing skin to breathe.

In terms of wear, this Vitamin E-infused mineral foundation promises to absorb oil and deliver a matte finish.

What’s perhaps even more interesting is that the Hourglass Oxygen Foundation compact features a mirror that swivels 360°. Frankly, I’m not fully convinced of the utility of a swiveling mirror outside of a slightly more discrete method of people-watching/guy-spotting.

Imagine sipping a Borbatini and sitting across from your fave gal pal when you spot a Mr. Hottie behind her. Rather than having her whip around to check out the boy-goods, simply bust out your Oxygen Foundation compact and swivel the mirror around to face your friend so she can take a little peek for herself…and decide whether the object of desire is closer than he appears ;)

This mineral powder foundation is definitely one I need to investigate further…

Has anyone tried Hourglass Oxygen Foundation? What do you think of it?

Hourglass Oxygen Foundation Powder is available for $46 from Sephora.
