Mineral Fusion Luster Bronzer Review

Like Mineral Fusion’s pressed base foundation, Luster Bronzer has an ultra-silky feel that blends well and easily does double-duty as an eyeshadow.

In one half of this dual-powder compact is a shimmery gold highlighting powder that’s not too sparkley and produces a pretty golden sheen. Housed next to the highligher is the smooth, brown-based bronzer that is mostly matte, but is just luminescent enough to prevent it from looking chalky or dry.

One of the things that I really like about Mineral Fusion Luster is that it can multi-task as an eyeshadow duo. Just blend the bronzer from your lashline all the way into your crease and then use the gold highlighter powder on the center of eyelids and across your brow bone. Voila! An easy-but-polished daytime eyeshadow look in under a minute.

While Mineral Fusion Luster Bronzer works well on a wide range of skin tones, I’d love to see it made in at least one lighter and one darker shade to accommodate those with very fair or very dark skin. But besides that, I definitely recommend it.

Mineral Fusion Luster is available from Whole Foods and, if you hurry up, you can snag this bronzer as part of the $20 Breast Cancer Awareness Mineral Fusion Starter Kit (a $122 value), which also includes two pressed base foundations, a hydrating antioxidant mist, and a kabuki brush.

Want to win one of these Mineral Fusion Starter Kits? My fellow beauty blogger Marina over at makeup loves me is giving one away to a lucky winner…but you better hurry up because her contest ends tomorrow on Friday, October 19th.
