To my knowledge, there is no single cosmetic that is more unabashedly lavish — or more expensive — than the new KissKiss Gold and Diamonds Lipstick from Guerlain.
Custom-designed in France and available in 15 customizable shades, Kiss Kiss Gold and Diamonds rings up at a cool $62,000.
But why the astronomical price tag?
For starters, the lipstick’s case is crafted from solid 18-carat gold and adorned with 2.2 carats worth of tiny diamonds (199, to be exact). For a personalized touch, the gold encasing can be engraved with a message or with your name (lest you lose it and someone else mistakes it as her own ;)
Truly designed for the makeup moxie who has everything (and probably much more), KissKiss Gold and Diamonds is available only by private appointment from Guerlain Boutiques at Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus San Francisco, The Breakers West Palm Beach and Epcot.
