Shiseido Lip Gloss Review

iconicon

Shiseido ‘The Makeup’ Lip Glossicon is pretty much everything a great lipgloss should be.

I tried this gloss out in “Peach Melba,” which is a shade that comes off as a truly neutral nude.

My favorite thing about this gloss is its super-light texture and creamy color. Blend a little on for a natural sheen or load it on for fuller coverage and super glossy lips that won’t feel sticky or gloopy.

Since this gloss has such a nice, light consistency, it’s also perfect for slicking over your lipstick for added shine.

While I would love it if this lipgloss was a bit longer-wearing and provided more moisture, I’m definitely not complaining. Shiseido Lip Gloss is an all-around excellent gloss that does its job of getting your lips lush and shiny. I’m actually declaring it a new fave and I highly recommend it.

Shiseido Lip Gloss is available in 13 shades and costs $20 at Nordstrom.

I love this lip gloss! I have it in petal pink & the formula is nice and silky. I think Shiseido is underrated, their eye shadows are equally good & they don’t seem to get the good press they deserve.

On a slightly unrelated note: I’m addicted to this website : )

lol! Hi Amanda! I’m sorry for the delay in responding…but I’m so happy to hear that you’re addicted ; ) It’s great to have you here!

And thanks for commenting about Shiseido. I agree that it tends to be an underrated brand. I recently bought a Shiseido eyelash curler and I think anyone would be hard-pressed to find any significant differences between it and the much-celebrated Shu Uemura curler : )
