Kiehl’s Lip Balm

iconicon

It’s arguable that Kiehl’s Lip Balm is overrated, but I love it for its smooth texture, not-over-the-top shine, and moisturizing abilities.

Slippery and lightweight, Kiehl’s Lip Balm is great for slicking over your lipstick or lipstain for added shine and moisture…or you can use it on its own as a light lipgloss.

I recently received the Kiehl’s Limited Edition Holiday Trio, icon which includes the lip balm in three (non-tinted) flavors: Pear, Mint, and Cranberry.

The flavors are all super-subtle, but I’m particularly enjoying the lip balm in the juicy pear flavor and the light mint version. The cranberry formula smells nice, but unfortunately tastes distractingly medicinal to me.

Nevertheless, this set still makes a nice stocking stuffer and I recommend it.

The Kiehl’s Limited Edition Lip Balms are available individually ($8.50 each) from www.kiehls.com or you can snag the holiday trio, icon from Nordstrom for $24.50.
