Sarah Happ Lip Scrub
Suffering from dry, winter lips? Then you’re going to love one of my fave little beauty gifts that I got for Christmas this year.
In keeping up with her uncanny ability to give me gifts that I both love and need, my oldest sister gave me a little pot of “The Lip Scrub” by Sara Happ.
Simple, but effective, this sugary paste is a perfect remedy for dry winter lips.
To use it, scoop out a tiny amount of lip scrub (if you apply too much at once, it can get a little messy) and firmly massage it into your lips in a circular motion.
Apply more, if necessary, and keep massaging the sugar crystals into your lips to really buff off any flaky, dry skin.
When you’re done, wipe the scrub off with a tissue. If you find that you still have a lot of stray sugar grains around, you can also give your lips a quick rinse with water.
Follow up by slicking a good lip balm or moisturizing lipgloss onto your newly smoothed smoocher.
The Lip Scrub comes in six flavors. I tried the warm and luscious Brown Sugar version as well as the equally yummy Vanilla Bean, which my sister loves and uses (and somehow was able to hide from me ;) Great stuff, I definitely recommend it.
The Lip Scrub by Sara Happ costs $20. To buy it online or find a nearby retailer that carries it, check out www.thelipscrub.com.

Hi Trish!
How was your holiday? Hope you had a great one!
Oooh! Thanks for sharing your opinion on this lip scrub! It’s definitely one of the best I’ve tried : )
P.S. — and, yes! My sis (and you!) have great taste ; ) She’s quite the Makeup Moxie herself.

The holidays were great, thanks for asking! I’m a bit worn out, but very happy that I got to see my family. Looking forward to the New Year. Happy New Year to you, Jazmin, and to all the Makeup Moxies! :)
