Have you been looking for a plumping lip primer?
There aren’t too many of them out there, but this new one from DuWop recently caught my eye.
In addition to including some of the same ingredients used in the classic DuWop Lip Venom (one of my all-time fave glosses to which I’ve been severely addicted at various points in my life), Duwop Prime Venom also contains macadamia nut oil to help moisturize your lips.
DuWop actually describes this primer as a “satin matte lip balm” that will help fatten up your smoocher while also smoothing and prepping the lips for smoother lipstick application.
Definitely an object of my desire, DuWop Prime Venom is available for $20 from Sephora.
Has anyone tried DuWop Prime Venom yet? What do you think of it?

I hate it. A waste of money. Barely any different than chapstick. I am so dissapointed because I love lip venom! Returning to Sephora ASAP!!!!

Hi Sara! Thanks so much for sharing your opinion on this product!
Oh, and that sucks that it didn’t work out for you. Was it tingly like Lip Venom?

I just bought it and I actually think it works pretty well. It definately resemebles the original Lip Venom and works just as well…

Yea… so I’m a boy and I LOVE pouty lips… I have the Victoria’s Secret Extreme Plumping stuff, the Patricia K Wexler from Bath n Body and Lip Venom… I just got Prime Venom and was sooo excited for a matte plumper… um can I please have my 20 dollars back to put towards LV 2nd Sin? Its totally not worth it. Less than half the tingle of the regular venom and minimal plump (Not for the money). Guess Ill keep puttin on the VS Xtreme (which has way cuter packaging) and wiping it off then applying balm to get that pouty look without (as much) flair. tear. I haven’t been this upset since the bristles on my Gaultier bronzer brush kept falling out! :(

Ooooh, I love it when boys have big, pouty lips! But I’m sorry to hear how disappointed you are with this product. Def. get your $20 back…have you tried LipFusion? It’s my top pick for getting nice plump lips (though I’ve been meaning to try the Victoria’s Secret one…I’ve heard lots of great things about it ; )
