Laura Geller Offers Plastic Surgeon in a Compact

Laura Geller Shade N’ Sculpt on Sephora.com

Who needs a plastic surgeon when you’ve got Laura Geller?

While I’m a true believer that all women are born beautiful, I also understand our desire to minimize perceived imperfections.

But before you even begin to consider any sort of cosmetic surgery, you should try a little makeup magic.

Laura Geller’s new Shade N’ Sculpt Baked Contouring Powder is designed to help you add contour and natural definition to your face.

If you’d like to create the appearance of a slimmer face, more narrow nose, or higher cheekbones, this all-in-one compact is supposed to allow you to minimize certain facial features using the darker “sculpting” shade while playing up other features using the shimmery nude-beige highlighter.

While you can achieve this effect with bronzers and face highlighters, I like that this compact has both shades built in.

I haven’t tried this powder out yet, but I do have a concern about it: The compact only comes in one set of shades. Will that really work for a wide range of skin tones? I’ll have to take a closer look and report back.

If you’d like to check it out, the Laura Geller Shade N’ Sculpt Set comes with its’s own brush and is available for $38 from Sephora.

Has anyone tried Shade N’ Sculpt? What do you think of it?
