Tarte Sunburst Beaded Bronzing Lotion

Tarte Sunburst on Sephora.com

Looking pasty? I’ve got a great solution for a getting a warm, dewey glow without looking unnaturally fake-baked.

I was recently introduced to Tarte Sunburst Beaded Bronzing Lotion, a light moisturizer that contains small beads of bronzer that break open when massaged into your skin.

When I first applied Tarte Sunburst, I was kind of skeptical of the little grains of bronzer because I felt like they might fall off of my face. As I continued to gently smooth the lotion into my skin, however, the beads stayed on before bursting open and releasing their mini doses of bronzer.

The result was an incredibly natural, dewey glow that doesn’t look too dark or the least bit orange.

If you don’t have any skin boo-boos that you’re trying to hide, this non-greasy lotion is excellent on its own for an ultra-sheer dose of face-warming color. If you want fuller coverage, try smoothing on Tarte Sunburst to prep your skin and warm up your complexion before dusting on a mineral foundation.

Excellent stuff and highly recommended, Tarte Sunburst Beaded Bronzing Lotion is available for $28 from Sephora.

Have you tried Tarte Sunburst? What do you think of it?

Thank you - January in UK - a holiday in the Caribbean would be the best solution to lack of sunshine but Sunburst sounds like the more economic solution!

lol! yes, this bronzer is definitely the more economic solution…but a Caribbean holiday would certainly be the more fun solution ;)

This bronzer is great! I have really pale skin and I have problems finding good tanners. I’d much rather use this bronzer. It’s perfect and not too dark!

    Hi Katrina,

Thanks so much for sharing your opinion on this product.

Though I have tan/olive skin, Tarte Sunburst created such a subtle, but health-looking glow that I was pretty confident that this would work on a large range of skin tones.

Now we know that it definitely does!

    Thanks again :)
