Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Loose Powder Review
Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Skin Smoothing Loose Powder is everything a great loose powder should be. It’s exceedingly silky, fine-textured, and perfect for setting your makeup.
When it comes to choosing a loose powder, I pretty much avoid 1) formulas that sparkle and 2) translucent shades (they tend to end up looking chalky on my tan skin tone). Since the Ceramide powder that I received to test actually fell into both of these categories, I was actually a little surprised to find how much I liked it.
The fine grain shimmer in this powder is barely perceptible and I found that it worked well to lend a radiant, perfection-blurring finish to the skin.
Furthermore, the translucent shade seemed to just disappear into my skin, leaving it with a gentle, matte texture that wasn’t the least bit chalky.
I’ve found that this powder works very well when you want to preserve the natural-looking finish of tinted moisturizer, but find that tinted moisturizers leave you looking too shiny too fast. It’s also great for setting eye makeup, since it’s truly colorless. Definitely recommended.
Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Skin Smoothing Loose Powder is available for $34 from places like Macy’s, www.elizabetharden.com, and Beauty.com.

I have tried this loose powder before and I was happy with it. It went on nicely, and didn’t show any makeup lines. I have such light toned skin, I usually go for the lightest color.

I simply love this loose powder. I use it in Translucent which doesn’t have any colour and love it. It simply makes my face luminescent and not shiny, so that I look fresh all day. Definitely a keeper!
