Laced with a creamy, not-too-sweet guava flavor, Korres Guava Lip Butter is deeply hydrating and utterly addictive.

This lip butter has a remarkable texture that’s truly buttery without being overly greasy. In fact, it’s so lusciously smooth and soothing that you’ll probably be inclined to apply more…but this is where potential problems with this product can begin.

The problem with Korres Guava Lip Butter
This lip butter has a sheer white tint and if you apply a very heavy layer of it, your lips will look white. Even more problematic, however, is the fact that, even though this lip butter is excellent for treating dry lips, it’s white tint actually clings to flakey skin and ends up emphasizing the appearance of chapped lips.

If your lips are flakey, be sure to exfoliate your lips thoroughly before applying this lip butter and apply only a very small amount.

Though I haven’t tested them out, you could also try one one of the pink- or red-tinted lip butters.
