Cargo Blu-Ray Lipgloss Review

PHOTO: Cargo Blu_Ray on Sephora.com

CARGO Blu_Ray Lip Gloss provides noticeable, but not over-the-top, lip plumping without making your lips feel like they’re burning, tingling, or overly numb.

The lipgloss has an almost undetectable hint of mint flavor and leaves lips looking smooth and shiny without being too heavy or sticky.

While there is a subtle sparkle to this gloss, it’s the kind of sparkle that reflects light and makes lips look contoured (similar to Armani Lip Shimmers).

The best thing about this quad-color lip palette, however, is that it’s a collection of truly wearable shades. While most lip palettes almost always end up with at least one unused orphan shade, each of the Blu_Ray lipglosses are about as close as you can get to being universally flattering.

The lovely raisin, peach, pink, and nude shades included in this palette are pigmented enough to give you a nice tint of color, yet still sheer enough to keep your lips looking natural.

If there’s a drawback to this product, it’s that the lipgloss isn’t very longwearing — especially if you’re going to be noshing and swigging down drinks without a straw.

Nevertheless, I still love this product and definitely recommend it.

CARGO Blu_Ray Lip Gloss is available for $29 from Sephora.

Have you tried the Cargo Blu_Ray lipglosses yet? What do you think of them?

The set is not bad, but I prefer such colours while daytime.

Yes, they are subtle…definitely not a top choice if you want a more dramatic lip look ; )
