Where can I buy IsaDora Cosmetics?

Since Walgreens discontinued IsaDora, a number of you makeup moxies have written to me asking where you can get your IsaDora fix.

In an emailed statement, a representative from IsaDora said that the brand would be available from CosmeticMall.com in “a couple of days.”

A helpful customer service representative from Cosmetic Mall further confirmed, in an email, that the IsaDora beauty goodies will be made available, but in “approximately 8 days.”

I’ll be sure to let you know when IsaDora officially becomes available (or if I hear anything more), but let’s plan on seeing the IsaDora brand at Cosmetic Mall around March 13th. Until then, just hang tight and hold on to your ‘buki brushes, ladies ; )

    I really miss Isa Dora.

  • 2 Jazmin // Mar 6, 2008 at 3:13 pm

I know! I didn’t realize just how popular IsaDora had become until I got a ton of emails from you makeup moxies asking me where to get it.

Rubii, you’re a big Milani fan, right? Just for fun, if you had to choose between Milani and IsaDora…which one would it be?

    ; )

    Jazmin,

Thanks for the separate post on this serious issue ;-) . It will make it easy to check back for new info/dates.

I’m hoping March 13th is true. I’d really like to try Isa’s cake mascara, and I’m running out of patience because mine own wee tube is nearly empty and is getting yucky. I hate to buy a new tube of mascara, because soon as I do, Isadora will be available. Oh the laments of cosmetics
    :-)

  • 4 Jazmin // Mar 10, 2008 at 2:55 pm

    LOL, you’re welcome ; )

What cake mascara are using? Dirty little secret: I’ve actually never tried cake mascara, but with your obsessing over IsaDora’s, my curiosity is piqued ; )

And, yes, cosmetics…it’s all about the agony and the ecstasy, lol

  • 5 Live Vintageously // Mar 12, 2008 at 8:13 am

    J,
I’m not using any cake mascara at the moment - but I want to try Isa because of:

-price, many other brands like Longcils and Lola are too expensive for a first try

-safety, La Femme, which would was my first choice, uses mercury-derived thimerosal as a perservative. How they can get away with that, I don’t know. But mercury is not something I want to mess with.

-longevity and cleanliness, a cake can last forever without worry of germs.

-glamour, who wouldn’t want to to try something as old Hollywood as cake mascara (I’m sure you can’t tell I enjoy vintage!)

Supposedly, cake mascara is the dirty little secret of many makeup artists. Plus, I’ve heard some very positive reviews for cake mascara (any brand) at makeupalley. So my curiosity was piqued, too :-p

I’ll keep you updated. Perhaps cake mascara would make an interesting future blog post for you to report on.

  • 6 Live Vintageously // Mar 12, 2008 at 8:15 am

Oh, I forgot to mention: cake mascara is supposed to be clump free. So dahling, if that isn’t enough reason to try it, what is?

  • 7 Jennifer // Mar 12, 2008 at 10:38 am

I am so excited to hear this. I must have gone to about 5 different Walgreens looking for my favorite IsaDora lip gloss before they were all out. I got one tube and it’s almost gone!

  • 8 Jazmin // Mar 12, 2008 at 2:49 pm

“Live Vintageously” & cake mascara…duh! I should have made that connection, lol

And you’re right dahling, cake mascara is so deliciously old school glamour…and you know that I’m all about the clump-free mascaras ; )

It would definitely make a great post. Thank you so much for bringing it up.

Jennifer: We’ll add your lipgloss to the growing list of faves that IsaDora fans are desperate to reunite with!

And let’s keep our fingers crossed that IsaDora shows up on Cosmetic Mall tomorrow : )

  • 9 Live Vintageously // Mar 12, 2008 at 6:42 pm

My fingers are crossed and my eyelashes are batting…

  • 10 Jazmin // Mar 13, 2008 at 6:14 am

lol, Live Vintageously. Did you makeup moxies see the site today? Good news is that Isadora is on Cosmeticmall. Bad news is that I’m not seeing the cake mascara there…

  • 11 AJ // Mar 13, 2008 at 12:24 pm

Sorry… Just looked on cosmeticsmall.com for IdsaDora cosmetics… available 1/2010?!?

  • 12 Jazmin // Mar 13, 2008 at 4:23 pm

omg, AJ, thanks for pointing that out. When I had looked at the site this morning, I noticed that date on some of the products, but I hadn’t clicked through and seen that ALL the products are scheduled for 2010. Crazy!

I’ll have to email them and see what’s going on.

  • 13 Live Vintageously // Mar 14, 2008 at 10:05 am

It’s a sad world… Isadora’s cake mascara is not listed. Eegads, am I twirked off!! I guess now I have to shell out $20+ for a cake mascara if I want to try it.
    >:-( (pouting…) (Perhaps I’m just becoming a wee bit too obsessive about trying cake mascara.)

I also noticed the prices seem higher than when Isa was at Walgreens. Anyone agree/disagree?

  • 14 Joyce Murray // Mar 14, 2008 at 11:27 am

Is it true that Isadora cosmetics will now not be available from cosmetic mall until 01/01/10?
Is there any one else that you can purchase this line of cosmetics from?

  • 15 Jazmin // Mar 14, 2008 at 11:52 am

    Ugh, I know this sucks.

And, yes, the prices do seem a little bit higher…at the time I wrote the review for the mineral foundation, it cost $17 and it’s now listed on Cosmetic Mall for $18.

Throw in the $6 shipping cost and it’s not a very pretty deal, lol

  • 16 Jazmin // Mar 14, 2008 at 12:21 pm

Hi Joyce! Unfortunately, I don’t have any additional info yet on when IsaDora will be available. Nor are there any other places that I’m aware of that are going to be carrying the brand.

I’ll definitely keep you updated if I find out anything new!

  • 17 Janice Tharp // Mar 19, 2008 at 7:12 am

I love Isa Dora Hazelnut Make-up, and because I do, I recommend the same product to my sister. My sister had difficulty finding the product, and then I went to every Walgreens in my city and had difficulty. Would you please let me know how I can retrieve this product? I would much prefer to purchase this at a retail store. Thank you.

  • 18 Jazmin // Mar 19, 2008 at 1:47 pm

Hi Janice, thanks for your question!

Unfortunately, I don’t think that this product is going to be available in U.S. stores (only online).

  • 19 monique // Mar 20, 2008 at 8:50 am

  • 20 Annette White // Mar 21, 2008 at 2:20 pm

I need the eyebrow pencil you sold in Cashmere - can you let me know where to purchase it - I cannot get into your cosmetic.mall web so that is not helpful. Thank you for responding asap.

  • 21 SonjaB // Mar 23, 2008 at 9:36 am

    Hello -

All Isadora products will be available for sale (according to the website) at Cosmetics Mall starting April 16, 2008. I didn’t see January 1, 2010 anywhere. Good News!!!

  • 22 Jazmin // Mar 26, 2008 at 1:01 pm

    Hi Monique and Annette,

I don’t work for either IsaDora or Cosmeticmall.com. The information contained in this post and the comments that follow it is all the information that I have.

And a big thank you to SonjaB for the update! Great to know that we won’t be waiting until 2010 to get ahold of our fave IsaDora products ; )

  • 23 Patti Bartlett // Mar 30, 2008 at 8:52 pm

Looking for eyeshadow in a tube

  • 24 Patti Bartlett // Apr 1, 2008 at 8:06 pm

W ill they be offering color Marble Stone in a tube

  • 25 Jazmin // Apr 2, 2008 at 9:03 am

    Hello Patti,

I don’t know whether they’ll be offering that product on Cosmeticmall.com. I looked through their eye makeup products and didn’t spot any type of eyeshadow in a tube.

  • 26 donna // Apr 2, 2008 at 9:40 am

And thanks Lisa and SonjaB! Yay for Isadora beauty goodies! Be sure to stop back and dish on your new IsaDora loot ; )

    Have a gorgeous day, moxies!

  • 30 Valentina Hano // Apr 15, 2008 at 9:06 am

Please let me know when Isa Dora will be available Cosmetic Mall.

    Thansk!

  • 31 Diane Guarino // Apr 15, 2008 at 12:16 pm

Since I was driving from Florida to NJ, I must have stopped at a hundred different Walgreens to find IsaDora, most stores were completely sold out but I managed to find one or two that had something left over…thank you for putting it into the Cosmeticmall.

  • 32 Jazmin // Apr 15, 2008 at 12:37 pm

Valentina: Cosmeticmall says that Isadora will be available April 16, 2008.

  • 33 Jazmin // Apr 15, 2008 at 12:37 pm

Diane: That’s great that you were able to find a few IsaDora “left-overs.”

And Makeup Moxie is an independent site. I don’t run Cosmeticmall.com…I just passed along what information I was able to get on where/when IsaDora would be available ; )

  • 34 AJ // Apr 16, 2008 at 1:07 pm

Looks like cosmeticmall.com has delayed release of IsaDora cosmetics until 4/30 now.

  • 35 Jazmin // Apr 17, 2008 at 5:53 pm

Thanks for the update, AJ ; )

  • 36 Gwen // Apr 19, 2008 at 11:54 am

Looks like IsaDora cosmetics keeps delaying on the date it will be available. Iwaited for the release of the products on 4/16/08, but now changed it to 5/3/08. They should hurry it up because I am getting anxious. What they need to do is put it back on the market.

  • 37 Gwen // Apr 19, 2008 at 11:59 am

IsaDora is 10 times better than MAC cosmetics. The quality is far superior and the texture is super smooth. IsaDra should be where MAC is. I think it needed more promotion and marketing of the product.

  • 38 Jazmin // Apr 21, 2008 at 11:43 am

Ugh, another delay?? I agree — they really do need to get going!

I wish I had tried more IsaDora products! After trying the brand’s mineral foundation and eyeshadow, I kept meaning to go back and try some of their other products…but I never got around to it (which really sucks, lol).

  • 39 AJ // Apr 23, 2008 at 1:38 pm

Amen, Gwen! I really liked their eye shadow colors, so began there, then used some powder and really liked that, as well… I really wanted to try their mineral foundation and other stuff, too… *Sigh*

  • 40 LISA // Apr 30, 2008 at 6:34 am

IAM SO UPSET THAT THEY KEEP DELAYING ISADORA FOUNDATION .. I FEEL AS IF THEY WILL NEVER GET GOING ON THIS…. WELL JUST KEEP US UPDATED AS I WILL TOO.K LADIES.. HAVE A GREAT WEEK ISADORA LOVERS..

  • 41 lori // May 8, 2008 at 8:59 am

i never tried isa’ other products. now i wish i had.im addicted to their waterproof tube mascara. i have really straight eyelashes. once they are curled i put it on and they stay. no other
brand does that. ive wasted alot of money. hope the 2010 is wrong.

  • 42 Jazmin // May 13, 2008 at 10:32 pm

Hi ladies! So how have searches for IsaDora been going? I haven’t checked the CosmeticMall site lately.

I wish I had control over what they’re doing over there, but unfortunately I don’t!

  • 43 AJ // May 22, 2008 at 3:40 pm

Guess what? I just placed my order for IsaDora cosmetics from CosmeticMall.com! They’re “making” you buy at least two pieces of some products, so I’ll bet they’re trying to get rid of them…

  • 44 MARJORIE BURKE // Jul 5, 2008 at 8:12 am

i need esadora eye shadow very very soon. where can i get it. seems everytime i find something i like it gets discontinued. thanks

  • 45 Letty Ingram // Jul 15, 2008 at 5:46 pm

Thank you, for the web site
where we can order Isadora products.

I sure miss purchasing your product
    at
Walgreens. Your color and shape eye brow gel is the greatest for coloring the
    grey hairs in my brows.

  • 46 Katie // Sep 16, 2008 at 3:49 pm

Too bad Walgreen’s no longer carry IsaDora. Love the Velvet Touch make-up which did cost 16.00 plus tax of 1.12 there. Will not pay 16.00 plus 6.00 and change for shipping to my door. So sad.
