Federal government bans mascara
The Food & Drug Administration released a statement today outlining its reasons for removing several brands of mascara from store shelves.
Citing recent studies that prove higher-than-average levels of lead as well as the dangers of several other ingredients, the FDA found that fifteen major brands of mascara are not fit for consumer use. It’s shocking that the following brands are included in the FDA’s report: APRIL FOOL’S!!
Your mascara is totally safe, so continue with your lash-lengthening endeavors! Sorry makeup moxies, was that too horrible of a joke to try to pull on you?
