Kiehl’s Launches New Line Featuring Moroccan Argan Oil

Kiehl’s recently jumped into the fair trade game with its new Superbly Restorative Preparations collection. This new line features 100% certified organic Argan Oil, an ingredient that comes from the nut of the Argan Tree’s fruit and is found only in Southern Morocco.

Used by generations of native Berber women for its moisturizing benefits and antioxidant protection, this oil has now made its way into Kiehls’ Superbly Restorative body lotion, dry oil, and skin salve.

Though I haven’t tested any of these products yet, the one that I find particularly interesting is the Superbly Restorative Dry Oil. This dry oil is supposed to add moisture to skin and can also be used to help repair split ends (yeah, I know I’m a sucker for “multi-taskers”).

The body lotion and dry oil are already available from www.kiehls.com and the Superbly Restorative Skin Salve, which is a more highly concentrated formula intended for soothing chapped and extra rough skin, will hit stores in June.
