Nexxus Humectress Luxe Leave-In Conditioner Review
Humectress Luxe Ultimate Leave-In Spray does everything a great leave-in conditioner should do.
I was sent a bottle of this conditioner to try out and I found that it smoothed and conditioned my hair without weighing it down and it left my locks super shiny.
Infused with coconut oil and honey extract, this moisturizing spray also contains Nexxuspheres, a time released technology that, according to Nexxus, gradually releases nutrients, antioxidants, and UV protectors for all-day hair care.
Though less expensive leave-in conditioners can get you comparable results, what I really like about Humectress Luxe is its fragrance and its spray nozzle.
The scent of this leave-in conditioner bursts with the smell of fresh crushed pineapple and real coconut cream…kind of like a superb homemade pina colada.
I’m also impressed with the spray nozzle on this bottle. Unlike most non-aerosol pump sprays that tend to dispense too much product, Humectress Luxe has a nozzle that sprays a fine, even mist that practically rivals that of an aerosol can.
Definitely recommended, Nexxus Humectress Luxe Ultimate Moisturizing Leave-In Spray is available for $9.99 from salons and other retailers

This makes me crave pina coladas!!!
I have a question for you. Most leave in conditioners that I’ve tried make my hair limp (it’s normally pretty bouncy & wavy) after I apply them and comb out my hair. Do you think this one will be any better??

I’m brand new to this site and I love it so far (have been on it all morning, LOL!). I am going to buy the Nexxus Luxe STAT, strictly based on your review, it sounds like exactly what I want. will report back! I am obsessed with anything coconutty or pineapply, I have always loved Nexxus products and just ran out of my leave-in. (was using Pantene, it’s nice but want something new).
thank you! you are very good at your research and product knowledge, I am excited to go shopping tonight after work!!

I have been using this stuff for 2 weeks and I absolutely love it! I have wild crazy curly hair and this stuff makes it shiny and soft.
You are right about the spray nozzle. It’s perfect.
And it does smell delicious!

Sharon: Thank you for the question! I have very fine, straight hair that I’m constantly pumping full of volumizers to try to get it to do anything…so, having said that, this leave-in conditioner didn’t weigh my hair down.
This makes me think that it should work pretty well for you too. If you haven’t tried this already, one trick to preserving your bouncy waves is to avoid combing out your hair after you wash it.
Instead, try a regular conditioner and use a wide-tooth comb to gently pick through any tangles before rinsing. Another option is to allow your hair to dry for awhile and then just gently “finger comb” your hair once it’s almost dry.
This should help preserve some of your natural waves ; ) Hope that helps!
chrysanthemum: LOL, spend as long as you want here! And thank you for the kind words. I’m so glad that you’re enjoying the site and finding it helpful!
Definitely let me know what you think of this conditioner. It’s good stuff ; )
And Beth, thank you so much for sharing your opinion of it! I hope we’ll be seeing more of these spray nozzles on other brands and products (like hairspray)…it would go a long way in preserving the ozone layer above my house ; )
