Caudalie Fresh Complexion Tinted Moisturizer is good, but not great.
While this paraben-free tinted moisturizer claims to be antioxidant-packed and it delivers richer hydration than most tinted moisturizers, it has some color issues and it’s lacking in sun protection.
Fresh Complexion comes in two shades: Fair/Medium and Medium/Dark. I tried the darker shade and found that even though I could pull it off fairly well with my tan-olive skin, the moisturizer is still a little on the orange side.
Furthermore, this tinted moisturizer has very little, if any, sun protection and it was too rich for my oily skin.
If you religiously avoid parabens or you have dry skin and you’ve got the time to slather on a good sunscreen before applying this tinted moisturizer, you might want to give it a try.
Overall, however, I would recommend saving yourself some money and opting for the better-performing Stila Sheer Color Tinted Moisturizer ($30, Sephora) or Lorac Protectint Tinted Moisturizer ($30, Sephora).
Caudalie Fresh Complexion Tinted Moisturizer is available for $39 from Sephora.com.
Has anyone else tried this tinted moisturizer by Caudalie? What do you think of it?

I have a fair complexion and as much as I love most of the Caudalie products, I didn’t love the tinted moisterizer. I really like Too Faced’s Cashmere finish foundation. It’s like a tinted moisterizer but better for oilier skin like mine.

Oooh, Too faced Cashmere Finish, I’ve never tried that one. Thanks for the tip!
Out of curiosity, what did you think of the color of the Caudalie tinted moisturizer?
