The splashes on my objects of desire list are the uber feminine Gardenia scent as well as the warm and sexy Fig Splash.

I ADORE the Marc Jacobs Splash scents. ADORE. They’re wonderfully airy and mood-boosting for me (like I need a mood boost, but whatev!). LOVE.
Having several versions of a fragrance is a smart marketing move, really. I might love a fall/winter appropriate scent but my body chemistry might turn it icky sweet. I’d check out a lighter or summer version because chances are I’d have better luck with that one.
For folks who prefer more intense scent, it’s a good idea to switch to the summer version because heat can make the original just too intense (fragrance wafts further in warm weather).

And you’re so right about wearing a lighter fragrance for summer. Heat definitely intensifies fragrance. And I think another good option (which is what I usually end up doing), is just wearing your fave scented lotion or body powder.
But now you’ve got me even more interested in these splashes! Which one(s) are your favorite?

the fragrance i’m dying for now is dior addict 2. a touch too pricey for me right now, im hoping to ask for it as birthday gift from the ‘rents :D. i love getting a spritz everytime i pass by the perfume counters though, i always check to make sure it’s not the saleswoman i saw the last time!
