Fekkai Wash and Wear Instant Shampoo Spray

PHOTO: Sephora.com

Housed in a beach-bag-friendly bottle, Frederic Fekkai Summer Hair Wash & Wear ($22, Sephora) is labeled as an “Instant Shampoo Spray” that’s supposed to provide UV protection for your hair while helping get rid of excess oil, hair products and pollutants.

Sounds great, but does it work? Nope.

While Wash and Wear claims that it will help you to “Clean up without lathering up,” this spray did very little to absorb oil or clean my day-old-dirty hair.

At best, this product smells fantastic and perhaps provides some sort of UV protection for color treated hair. If you’re looking for a quick fix for dirty hair, however, you’re going to have to look elsewhere.

Has anyone else tried Fekkai Summer Hair Wash and Wear? What do you think of it?

Hi! You have to try Rene Furterer - Naturia Dry Shampoo. After trying the Oscar Blanri, Bumble & Bumble and Pssssst I keep going back to the Rene Futerer as it always gives me amazing results without weighing my hair down or over “perfuming” my hair. :-)

Hi there! Oooh, I’ve been wanting to try that dry shampoo! Thanks so much for the tip ; )

Does the Naturia dry shampoo have any fragrance? Or is it totally unscented?

I purchased this product about a month ago and I love it! I find that it does all of the things it says it does, and my hair does not look or feel greasy after using it. I normally wash my hair every other day, but by using this product I can go an extra 3-4 days. And it smells great!

    Hi there,

Glad it works for you! Just as a reference for our fellow makeup moxies, what type of hair do you have (oily, normal, dry, curly)?
