Benefit Powderflage Review

Benefit will soon be releasing Powderflage, icon an intriguing new powder concealer.

I recently received a sample of Powderflage to try out and I have to admit that I was skeptical. A light pink (almost white) powder that contains light-diffusing ingredients, Powderflage promises to brighten under-eye circles and conceal fine lines.

So is Powderflage just a gimmicky shimmer powder or does it really work?

Powderflage actually works very well. Though this exceedingly silky powder is translucent enough to work on pretty much all skin tones, it also provides enough light-diffusing illumination to brighten under-eye circles and blur fine lines without looking the least bit shimmery or chalky.

You can use Powderflage by itself if you only need light coverage to disguise the shadows under your eyes or any fine lines. If you need more coverage for darker under-eye circles, Powderflage also can be used as an excellent illuminating finishing powder.

When applied over a regular concealer, Powderflage adds natural-looking brightness and does a great job of setting your concealer without looking powdery or settling into lines.

Highly recommended, Benefit Powderflage will be available August 19th from www.benefitcosmetics.com.icon

And Benefit does it again: cutesy name, cutesy packaging, but an overall good product. You gotta love those damn twins.

You’re so right! I also forgot to mention in the review that Powderflage comes with the cutest little mini fan brush that’s perfect for applying the powder. Def. a winner ; )

This sounds like an excellent product. Anything that can conceal/brighten and disguise the fine lines around my eyes is a must try. The mini fan brush is a fun selling point too.

    Thanks Jazmin!

Hi Jen! It’s great to see you again! : )

And you’re very welcome! The brush is so cute, I’m going to try to get a picture of it. I also love the tube that the product came in. It has a camouflage print with pink accents. Really charming and very “Benefit.”

The fan brush is called a ‘flager’, as in a “camoFLAGE” . The packaging lovely too.

jac: Yep, that’s what Benefit calls it…and I agree with you. The jar (and the camouflage tube that it comes in) is really cute!

    dedra: Thank you!
