New Cargo PlantLove Collection

It looks like Cargo Cosmetics is truly becoming a mean, green, makeup machine. On Sept. 22, the beauty brand will launch its complete PlantLove collection.

Besides the usual buzz that surrounds any Cargo launch, the premier of PlantLove is significant because it marks the first time a prestige brand has received ECOCERT organic certification (the Organic Wear line by Physician’s Formula was the first mass retail line to be ECOCERT certified organic).

Greatly expanding what was originally just the PlantLove lipstick line, the new collection will debut a full range of color cosmetics that includes a loose powder foundation, pressed face powder, illuminator, bronzer, blush, lipliner, lipgloss, lip balm, eyeliner and eyeshadow.

In addition to meeting ECOCERT’s standards for being natural, organic and environmentally friendly, PlantLove also makes an effort to

reduce its eco-footprint through the use of eco-conscious, corn-based packaging .
Whether or not you’re a green queen, the PlantLove collection is certainly worthy of some beauty lust. Be sure to stay tuned for reviews.
The Cargo PlantLove Collection will be available in mid-September from Sephora.

Always a great idea if something not edible is earth-friendly – great for you and for our home on planet earth – plus cosmetics are always fun!

Yes, they are fun! And the great thing is that the push to “go green” is building momentum in the beauty world. Plus, product lines like these do help to build awareness for those who might not normally consider how the use of their products can impact our environment : )

Hey Jaz! So glad you posted about the new collection. I found out about it on the Sephora blog a while back, and wow – love at first sight. I’m hitting the pan on my MSFN, so I’ll be looking for the powder. Have you seen the eyeshadows? They’re GORGE. I seriously want to buy the entire line. I can’t wait to get my hands on it all.

Hey babe! Yep, the eyeshadows are great – silky, blendable, and well-pigmented. Stay tuned for a review!

OO YAY. I’m so flipping excited. I’m disappointed though, the powder isnt available in my shade, but lord…the gloss and blusher shades are to DIE FOR. I seriously got the mox pox just thinking about them.

LOL, “mox pox”…now that’s serious! Did you try the powders out? They actually seem to run pretty sheer.

Haven’t check out the gloss and blush yet…can’t wait!
