Heart disease doesn’t care what you wear
Moxies, did you know that tomorrow is National Wear Red Day?
Created by The Heart Truth, National Wear Red Day is the annual kick-off to American Heart Month. While The Heart Truth is encouraging us to wear red and show our support for women’s heart disease awareness, they’re also trying to get out a critical message: “Heart Disease Doesn’t Care What You Wear – It’s the #1 Killer of Women.”
One of the most surprising things I learned about heart disease is that it can start as early as your teens and you should be taking actions to protect your heart health no matter what your age.
Whether or not you’re wearing red tomorrow, be sure to give yourself a little evaluation of your risk for heart disease by checking out this article (this one is good too : )

its cool that you posted on this. cause as you know i own and operate a merle norman studio and we actually have a small color collection for today… so of course im wearing red, on my body and lips! have a great wkend!

Thank you for this piece. I am 33, eat well, exercise and am otherwise very healthy. I was just diagnosed with cardiovascular disease (thank you, family history). I think there are so many people who shrug off symptoms thinking it’s stress or being a tired mom or whatever it may be that we don’t take enough time to listen to our inner voice and get to the doctor.
Ladies, we take our time to choose our lipsticks and which jeans will look best with which top, but we also need to take a few minutes to keep our health in check :)

Jasmin where are you?? you have not been around for A LONG time is everything ok? u never did update the mineral makeup for 2008…and it is now 2009 :(…I just wanted to say I miss your reviews and every time I check back in hopes of a new post, but no signs of any :( :(
